BEFORE FUMIGATION IMPORTANT DETAILS PLEASE READ
ARRANGE GAS RECONNECTION
We make arrangements with the Gas company to turn OFF the gas the day of the fumigation. MAKE SURE THE GAS COMPANY HAS ACCESS TO YOUR METER IF THERE IS A GATE OR DOG THE GAS COMANY MAY NOT TURN OFF THE GAS AND WE CANT PUT UP THE TENT.
Before the fumigation process begins, you'll need to contact your gas company to schedule an appointment ahead of time to turn the gas back on to your home. The gas company will come out and inspect and re-light all pilots. There is no charge for this service.
ARRANGE TO HAVE PETS PROTECTED AND SAFE
If you have pets, you'll need to make accommodation arrangements for them during the fumigation process. Consider staying with family or friends or finding temporary accommodation for the duration of the process.
BAG FOOD /MEDICINE
Any unsealed food or medications should be removed or appropriately prepared for the fumigation process. Any food that remains in the home should be sealed in propeitary bags or removed from the home altogether. Unsealed medications should be taken with you during the fumigation process. We will provide special bags to be used for this process. When in doubt take it out.
MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR KEYS/ACCESS
Before the fumigation process begins, you'll need to make house key arrangements with our team. This step is crucial since the pest management team will need access to your home during the process.
REMOVE AND OR TRIM PLANTS
If you have indoor or outdoor plants, you'll need to move them away from your home during the fumigation process. This step is critical since the fumigation process can harm plants and vegetation in the immediate area.

DURING TERMITE FUMIGATION PROCESS
THE DAY OF THE FUMIGATION

During the actual fumigation process, you'll need to take a few additional steps to protect your home and belongings. Here's what you need to know:
ONCE THE CREW ARRIVES
We will give you a 2 hour window of arrival the day before the fumigation. We have multiple jobs a day sometimes in multiple cities so the job may not go up in the morining. It is common for the window of arrival to be 3-5pm. Before the fumigation process begins, you'll need to evacuate your home entirely. This step is essential since the fumigant can be harmful to humans and animals. BE PREPARED AHEAD OF TIME
MAKE KEY ARRANGEMENTS. WE DO NEED TO HAVE KEYS
Before you leave your home, you'll need to provide your house keys. If you are planning on work or cannot be home some owners hide a key.
WATER PLANTS NOT THAT MAY BE COVERED
Before leaving your home, you'll need to water your landscaping thoroughly. This step is critical since the fumigant can damage vegetation in the immediate area. This can help limite the damage.
TURN OFF A/C AND OTHER AUTO TIMERS
Any automatic timers or devices, such as air conditioning or heaters, should be turned off before the fumigation process begins. This step is critical since these devices can interfere with the fumigation process.
HIRE SECURITY OR NOTIFY POLICE
Some owners decide to hire security or contact the police dept to notify of the process about to take place. Or, you may decide to stay on the property with an R.V.
AFTER THE FUMIGATION - DAY 3
PLAN ON BEING HOME BY NOON ON THE 3RD DAY
We test the air quality with meters to confirm the house is clear. Once that process is done we pull all tarps and clean up any debris. After that the fumigation process is complete, plan to arrive home by noon. There will be a notice on the front door stating the home is clear and ready for re-entry. Be ready and waiting for the Gas Company.
